"お気に入りの木綿や麻のシャツ。こまめに洗濯していても次第に汗じみが残り黄ばんでくる事もしばしばです。 漂白剤を使っても元の真っ白な状態には戻らないこともあります。 そんな時には大きな鍋に水と洗剤と黄ばんだシャツを入れて火にかけます。 沸騰したら弱火にして、約３０分煮込みます。（時々中をかき混ぜることも忘れずに）火を止めて充分にすすいでから陰干しすると、驚くくらいに真っ白に仕上がります。 日頃はお風呂の残り湯を使って洗って下さい。 体から出た皮脂汚れって、水道水では溶けてくれないからです。 すすぎは水道水で構いません。 白洋舎クラスになると汗汚れの衣類は６０度のお湯で洗い、 ６０度のお湯で２度もすすいで徹底的に汚れを落としています。 干して乾いた後はなるべく涼しい場所で保管して下さい。"
